San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom will host a free indie-rock concert in Denver during convention.Critically aware of what the young adult vote means to his base as he considers a run for governor in 2010, Newsom will sponsor honoring Young Democrats of America event in Denver during the Democratic National Convention.
It will feature an all-star line-up including Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Cold War Kids, Silversun Pickups, Nada Surf, DJ Z-Trip and members of Death Cab for Cutie, Rilo Kiley and She and Him, as well as a special appearance by comedienne and actress Sarah Silverman and other surprise guests.
